- (1 cup dried kapenta)
- (1 medium onion, chopped)
- (1 large tomato, chopped)
- (Green pepper)
- (1 tsp curry powder)
- (3 tablespoons olive oil)
- (Salt)

1. First clean the dried kapenta then soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes to remove the fish residue.
2. Remove from the water and rinse over the tap with cold water.
3. Pat dry the fish.
4. Heat oil in a saucepan and add the kapenta.
5. Gently fry the kapenta until it turns slightly brown.
6. Add curry powder, fish spice and chilli.
7. Add chopped onions then tomatoes and continue frying until cooked.
8. Add chopped pepper last and fry for a few minutes.
9. Let the fish simmer in the juices for a few minutes.
Serve with sadza/nshima/nsima or rice or any starch.
